WHO WE ARE
We are seasoned gardeners, landscape designers and passionate advocates. We see significance in our role in the food chain and seek to restore our relationship to nature to one that is mutualistic. A garden—we believe, is the best way to unravel all the connections needed to forge the alliance.
Our collective horticultural experience began with humble homeowners, underutilized school, community spaces, and commercial kitchens—eventually managing edible landscapes for distinguished commercial properties like Marina Bay Sands & Pan Pacific Hotels.
The designer on our team led the entire design process, project management, and routine maintenance for the edible garden built at Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay—winning it the silver medal for the LIAS Awards of Excellence in 2021 for Edible Garden City.
In the process of bridging people to food, we were inadvertently feeding other aspects of the food chain—extending resources to the broader landscape. We were supporting systems of biodiversity outside the garden, enabling other trophic levels to flourish.
A garden can be a refuge for birds, a feeding ground for pollinators and a sanctuary for native fauna. Through thoughtful design and careful planting, gardens can become spaces that foster biodiversity and revive our deeply needed connection to the natural world.
There is an urgent need to better our relationship to nature and take responsibility for the way our choices and decisions impact it. Our solution—to create richly diverse gardens, not only providing sustenance for those who tend to them but can cultivate ecological interactions that serve as a vital conduit to the wider environment.
As we nurture the ecological interactions we have left—right smack in the city, let us bridge you to gardening in all its wild glory.
